Multi-day School Camp
Real food. Hands-on farming.
An immersive farm camp education experience for your class - tailored to grade level run by outstanding educators.
A Connection to Where Their Food Comes From
From field to plate, your students will experience real life on a farm; harvesting food for meals and cooking together, hands-on farm work, storytelling and music by the fire. Students will make deep connections to curriculum learning objectives while having an unforgettable camp experience. Our Farmer Educators are certified teachers with years of experience passionately combining outdoor education with farming and food. They're really fun too.

Food & Accomodation
"The goal of early childhood education should be to activate the Childs' own natural desire to learn." - Maria Montessori
Teachers, here's the nitty-gritty..
Transport to and from Gibsons Farm
You get your students to Horseshoe Bay and we will pick your class up on the other side at Langdale with our local bus company. Commute from downtown Vancouver to Gibsons Farm can be as fast as 90 minutes with a beautiful 40 minute ferry ride in the middle - taking you through the breathtaking Howe Sound to the Sunshine Coast (still part of the mainland). It's a 10min drive to the farm from the ferry.
Food
We will provide all food for the duration of your stay with the exception of day 1 snack and lunch, which the students will bring. Rotating groups of students will be responsible for helping to harvest and prepare each meal. Please talk to us about dietary restrictions in your classes.
Accomodation
For a rustic camping experience we have the option of 2-4 person tents for students to stay in, or large 10 person bell tents. We can accommodate up to 60 people. Sleeping mats are provided but students will need their own sleeping bag.
